Need to replace the passenger side. $1800 quoted. Is there a brand I should demand?
Mine have been replaced in the past with Guardian which is now owned by Custom Glass Solutions. But they were one piece. I was told that FT owns the mold for their windshields and Guardian is their authorized fabricator.
Pretty sure Coach Glass is it. Could be wrong.
Be aware, if you have an older windshield, the band at the top and tint etc. may be different.Mine were originals.
I just had my replaced, insurance bought both. No money out of pocket with Safeco.
The guy that did them, did all the FT's when I worked for them. He mentioned the difference also, so just told the adjuster they were both bad, which was true. The other had a ton of repairs, and we would have just had to start another claim for the other one because of the difference. So saved everyone a bunch of grief..
Bill was like $3500.00 for both, no gasket, that would have been $700.00, but didn't need it.

Had ours done last summer here in Riverton, I called Foretravel and asked about cost and availability, 700+ shipping.
Told my glass shop nothing but Foretravel glass with the stamp on the glass.
That's what I got ,2700 and change out the door 92 GV U300. Both sides
Coach glass is where we got ours from. Seems like the glass was like $1200. Probably had to pay shipping on top of that. They'll find you an installer wherever you're at.
FOT two weeks ago, genuine a Foretravel glass with imprint. $1193.52 less Motorcade discount plus tax.
Insurance paid, and my Motorcade discount covered a lot of my deductible.
They did a great job. Totally professional. Worth the detour to Nacogdoches.
