Well here I go again just ran across the fix for the neon bulb repair replacement on the power line monitor. I am planning on tackling this project when my new neon bulbs come in. Along with the higher value resistors to make the neon indicator last forever. I will post pictures and info. This was originally posted about 10 years ago and I ran across it and thought it might be some interest in this fix again.
Hummm. Can't wait to see the end results.

I redid the neons then replaced the unit a few years later. My units needle fluttered at times. Gauge not the voltage. The unit was not precise enough to help me monitor/diagnose as much as I wanted/needed.
Bob your system is different from his.
Ah thank you
Just finished the replacement of the green neon indicators and resistors as well. Happy with the results.
Can you post part numbers and procedure?
Thanks.
Here is a picture from an old post. Part numbers are also on some older posts.
