Title: What are these fasteners for?
Post by: DayDreamer on August 03, 2020, 05:06:09 pm
What are these three fasteners on the valance on the front in the center?  They look out of place like they are there to hold something.

Yes, they are acorn nuts, but what I meant to ask is why are they there?  Looks like something might have been mounted there, but not sure.

I assume that's above the dash in the video area. Maybe access to remove that panel to get behind it or something was mounted there. Mine had a bunch of items that were gone up there. I made my own panels to hide the holes from old equipment from the past. Looks good now and I have access to my wiring and air horn piping

Yes, above the dash and just below the overhead cabinet with the video equipment; I should have also taken a picture further back for context. The bolt heads can be seen the back side of the panel, so assume it previously held something.  Not a big deal, just curious.

Do I see an imprint from something that used to be mounted there?  If so, put there and removed by previous owners. Acorn fasteners cover the holes.
