While doing a little kitchen remodeling,(installed a Furrion Stove with Oven), I had the extra corian left over that used to cover the cooktop. Using the leftover drawer slides after removing the drawer below the cooktop, I added a slide out counter section above the drawer banks using the slides and corian.
At the same time, I noticed all the open space behind the drawers, and also the empty space where the large base speaker used to be. Added a slide out rack in the bottom, then behind the drawers, cut a hole, made a door, and gained quite a bit of storage.
