Filling the water tank. Click the valve opened. Filled tank. No click. Green light stays on.
Switch operates a relay? In the compartment with a fiberglass cover? Anyone familiar enough with a coach like ours to tell me which relay? Can I just unplug the relay somehow to allow the valve to close? With no power if the fill valve won't close by itself can percussive persuasion work.
If no luck crud in the valve? 8 years ago it stuck and I cut a wire to it and it closed.
If I knew where the power to the relay then to the valve was it seems a nicer temp fix versus removing the manifold valve cover and accessing the valve directly?
Thanks in advance as with the valve open no water pressure in coach,
Last day in San Diego.
Coach power door switch is off now. Hopefully the valve will cool and close. But no click right now.
Never mind. Turing off the coach power allowed the valve to cool. Light goes off. Pressure builds. World is good
normally open valves are powered closed and normally closed valves are powered open. ours is a normally closed so when I turn power on it will fill

Long ago I turned on the fill valve before the water flow was on. It stuck and was hot to the touch. Cut the power wire and after a bit it closed.
I turned on the water first this time then turned off the water then walked over to turn off the fill. No bueno.
I assume the valve has crud in it making any heating without the water problematic.
Another item on the list.
