Have a question about a wire number. I've looked at the wiring schematics that I have found with my coach and see none of them have actual wire numbers on them. I'm trying to find where a wire goes to to see why it doesn't have power on it. I've read here on the forum about a wiring schematic for the coach. Would it have the actual wire number on it if I could obtain one would I be able to trace that wire back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The wire number is 71147 which I assume is number specific to my coach. Not sure what info is displayed on the instrument I just like to have things working if and when possible.

Buy a tone injector and finding the end will be EZ. Don't spend a ton as the $20-$25 models work great: Amazon.com : tone wire tracer (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=tone+wire+tracer&ref=nb_sb_noss_1)

The manual that came with my coach has the wire numbers just like in your pictures. Gives location of both ends.
I agree with Pierce. My tone wire tracer has been worth every penny on many occasions in my coach, stick-and-brick and car.

I agree a tone tracer is a necessity.
I think that is a footage number off the wire. It shows how many feet is left on the reel of wire. I wouldn't think your wire numbers would be that big. Check and see if there isn't a number a foot from that number that is one number smaller or larger. The wire number will be stamped on the wire several places along the wire
Just my two cents

Searching for the door switch wire.. C11 (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=37570.msg361705#msg361705)
Most of my wire numbers are only 3 or less characters. Some numbers, some numbers and alphabet. The spares are 7-8 characters starting with EX........
Do you have a 4 page wire list for your year? Mine appears to be generic for all 2002s.

If you are a FT member. Ronnie will walk thru the wiring schematic on the phone and help. He even sent me one I was missing and didn't know it
