Title: hwh control panel
Post by: snappytaylor on August 25, 2020, 06:36:48 am
Hello, I have just started having issues with the control panel. I need to push the level button many times before it will activate. I am thinking the push button controls are worn out although once it starts to work everything seems to be fine. I Wondered if any one has had this issue?

Make certain that the ribbon cable is firmly attached to the back of the control panel.

Having the same issue with mine. Sent the panel and control box back to HWH. Like Folivier said check that all connections are tight.

Those panels are replaceable.  About $100 if I recall.

If the panel face is cracked up I paid $15 for a replacement when I sent my unit in for repairs.

This is slightly off the original topic of switching problems but goes along with what Folivier addressed.  I bought a new overlay for the keypad on my HWH because the two buttons that were most often used were wearing through.  HWH sells the sticky backed overlay very inexpensively and replacing it is quite easy.  Replacing it really spruces up that corner of the instrument panel.

I have a before photo but not the after.  Suffice it to say that it now looks like a brand new HWH.

What would cause mine to have red lights stay on and buzzer constantly going off? Won't stop buzzing until I shut it off

Silvbullet,

We are not mind readers, nor do many of us have total recall.  If you are going to ask questions here about your coach, then you must either tell us (in every single post) what year and model coach you have...

OR, you could add your coach information to your signature.  Then you don't need to type the info in every post.  Instructions below:

1.  Click on your Forum "name" (Silvbullet).  Takes you to your profile page.

2.  On Profile Page, at the top, pull down the "Modify Profile" menu and click on "Forum Profile"

3.  Scroll down to "Signature".  Fill in the box with whatever info you want to display.

4.  At the bottom right corner of your Profile Page, click "Change Profile".

5.  DONE
