Ok, old isolator has 3 posts. new one from FT is 3 posts. the old one no longer has markings, the new one has, left post-battery 1. middle post-alternator, right post- battery 2. You suppose the old and new are the same posts?
3 circuit breakers on the plate with isolator. Old ones not marked, new ones have 12 volt side. These are 2 post breakers. Any way to tell the 12volt post on the old ones?
Thanks
The isolator is the same. On the old circuit breakers take off the wire on one side and then find which wire is hot that will go to the 12 volt side.
Kind of embarrassed! The circuit breakers hot post is copper and shorter than the other. Got them done. Next, isolator and it is not going to be fun! Very corroded and welded onto the plate! ha ha
Sure recommend a combiner.
Got the old one off. It was marked under the dirt and grime. Install the new one tomorrow. Bought a Cole-Hersey 200 amp from FT. 2/3 the size of the old one so new holes are in order. Next air bags and hopefully done for a while
Ok. 6 hour project on my back split into 2 days. Getting the old off was most the time. 3 new circuit breakers and an isolator. Charging at 14.1 instead of 13.2. It was time!!! Only one cut on my hands! Glad it's over ! ha ha ha
