Unable to locate replacement cover due to being obsolete. I have a 1995 U300 and cover has six mounting screws. Because of hail damage and age not sure i can fiberglass. Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Curley
There have been posts of DIY aluminum when needed.
If you can't find the original cover, you might need to replace both cover and base with a new universal style. Some ideas:
Refrigerator Roof Vents for sale | PPL Motor Homes (https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-appliances/rv-refrigerators-freezers/refrigerator-accessories-repair-parts/refrigerator-roof-vents)
I just bought this one on Amazon. Perfect fit!
Norcold Inc. Refrigerators... Amazon.com: Norcold Inc. Refrigerators 622293CBW Polar White Roof Vent Cap:... (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0031XQRNW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)
Thanks for suggesting PPL. I searched their website and found universal cover mfg Camco #42160 $21.83 and ordered. Drilled four holes in new cover to match original mounting as per instructions. Easy and inexpensive replacement.
Thank you Curley
