The dash heater control isn't working. It has been slow to get to work and now it doesn't work. It is an electrical control and the only way I can see to get at it is to pull the headlights. I don't know yet if it is the switch or the controller. Anybody worked on it.
What is the heater control switch out of?
Fan control or hot and cold control? My '99 looks like a Ford product as far as positions go.
FT will know on Monday.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the heater temperature control. I ordered all the diagrams from Foretravel for the
computer but I can see I am missing some.
I figgered out the wiring and I found the problem which was the electric plug on the controller. This is
why I redid the headlights now, so I could get at the contoller. It now is easy to get at and to remove
the new head light is a few minute job.
When took the coach for a drive the other day and night the heater worked great. It had never worked right from the when I bought.
I thought is was just not a great heater so I guess the valve never got really open.
What did you have to do with the connector to get it working? Having the same issue on a friends 99 U320.
I think I squeezed the connection with a vise grip and it that fails I will make up a new connector.
Our dash heat was getting slow to change temp... sometimes it would take over 10 minutes after adjusting the knob setting. After verifying a good connection at the control valve plug I determined the valve was hanging up. I replaced it with a new valve
