When we bought our 1995 U300 in January it was a repossession.
We got an ignition key, a deadbolt key, and a compartment key.
We don't have a main door key.
Would Foretravel have key codes by serial number where we could get one made?
Thanks. Susan
I only use the deadbolt to lock the entry door, but aren't the compartments and the door keyed the same?
If it's not the same as the compartment keys, just pull the assembly off the door and take it to the locksmith. You could also take your compartment key and it's possible the locksmith can make it so the same key works for all.

Door handle key lock has two problems, so we don't use that lock anymore. Only use dead bolt.
- Door lock is known for not unlocking, keeping one from entering.
- More important, is while moving it I important to always put deadbolt in lock position, as it is the only sure way to stay in coach if you fall against the door from the inside while moving.
Great point about using the dead bolt while moving as it would not be that hard to be ejected. The lock assembly was used by thousands of RVs and locked me out on a SOB. The screws need locktite or they easily back out. We only use the dead bolt when leaving the coach. I like to lock it and then pull the latch. The door will move a tiny bit and lets you know you went the right way on the dead bolt.

Only deadbolt for me as well
I never pull on the latch after engaging the deadbolt. That little bit of movement can bind up the deadbolt so the door cannot be unlocked with the remote. I satisfied hearing the click of the deadbolt engaging.
I disabled the door handle lock. Too many stories about getting locked out of coach. We use deadbolt only.
No remote on veteran Foretravels.
