Title: Aqua Hot filter
Post by: oldmattb on October 28, 2020, 03:03:52 pm
I have looked, and I give up!

Where is the Aqua Hot filter on a 1998 U-320 36-foot?

Matt,
Are you asking about the fuel filter for the aqua-hot?  On our 1997, you have to remove the "beauty cover" in the bay behind the fuel tank bay, then remove the metal cover off the aqua-hot to expose the burner, pumps, and fuel filter.

My fuel filter was above the burner and I got rid of that one an installed a new filter on the wall that the batteries are on
the other side of it. Much easier to get at.

I guess I have seen so many photos of relocated ones, I never thought to look INSIDE the big box.

Thanks!

Sure make sense to move it to an area with easier access...just another thing on the to-do-list for me.

My '99 has it in the box under the driver's seat upper left hand side.

Mine is behind headlights to the right of the generator.

As mentioned, the Racor R-12-T water separating fuel filter is near the top of the basement below the driver's feet.  This filter is available from many sources if they sell Racor brand filters.  Other brands are fine.

I do like the filters that have a plastic bowl through which I can see the possibility of water in the fuel and alge in the fuel.
