If those little bumpers on your entry step are getting ratty, these little guys from Ace or Home Depot are just right.

Ha, perfect. I literally just took these off a few days ago to get at my vacuum generator and thought to myself "holy crap, these are toast".

Also, there's no way that leather flap is original. Where'd you get it? ;D

I just take it to an upholstery shop and have them sew me up a new vinyl replacement. Nice little upgrade that you appreciate every time you climb into the coach. Others have done some interesting and good looking replacements too.

I cut up a cheap Walmart rubber door mat.  Has held up very well for years.

I also used screw-on bumpers like jor, but clear instead of white.

The skid guard tape with yellow stripe is available at most home improvement stores.

I have never seen these bumpers used on a Foretravel. My coach certainly does not have them. When my step is finished being redone should I be putting these on for preventative purposes?

They are not necessary. They just provide a larger attaching surface for the screws like a washer and give that step a nice soft thump when it closes. I had some black ones on another rig but can't recall what I used. Similar though.
