Having some water intake issues of late. Speaking with Ronnie at Foretravel and it was decided to replace the solenoid on water intake valve. Worked for a bit and then back to same issue. In the conversation it was determined that this coach had two solenoids. One on blue pex and one on red. Ronnie said the other was intended for 'instant hot water' option that was installed on the coach when built. I've had for 12 years and never knew it was there.
Herein lies the question. He said there would have been a switch in the kitchen and maybe the bath that would activate. There is a switch on the front of counter below the stove top that is not labeled. It is next to the water pump switch and before the right end switches which are mood lights. The hot water switches are to the left end.
Does anyone know what it is for? It is a 'rocker' type returning to original position like the fill pump switch.
Thanks,
David
Fluorescent ceiling lights near fridge and in bath?
After further research, and a timely call from Roger Engdahl, he determined the 'check valve' was probably the culprit all along. When removed, the check valve just fell apart. Install new brass $20 piece and all is well. Access to the check valve was easy. In the outside bay area behind the hose reel. The solenoids were probably never in the equation. I say plural because this coach originally tapped for an 'instant hot water' dispenser that was never installed to our knowledge. The second solenoid had red pex installed on it instead of blue.
Thanks to everyone's help. Ronnie at Foretravel has been updated as well. David
In our coach, this switch is labeled "BCWW," for "bow chicka wow-wow." Blame our friend Sabra.
