Post by: Hans&Marjet on January 14, 2021, 12:51:05 pm
Finishing up my airbag and shock replacement and wonder if anyone has a source  for 3/8 OD air tubing in bulk, would like to carry some spare tubing for emergencies

Thx

What about the big truck places around Greenville/Spartanburg?

This place is in Rock Hill, SC.

Pretty sure most NAPA stores carry DOT brake line and fittings.

1/4 npt male x  3/8 od compression DOT fitting.. I have early and late DOT fittings the late ones have the "crush" pipe on the fitting the early stay in line. they do not interchange have to modify the line.

Yes and it is probably the old style with the insert in the tubing not on the elbow. I had to find old stock to keep the same configuration.

I have some "old style" (hopefully) fittings coming tomorrow, will update this thread when I get them.

Do you happen to have the part number this old style NPT from NAPA?

I do not have a part number.  I just took an old one in and matched it up.  It is a common part on big trucks.  I'm sure a truck stop service shop/truck dealership would also have them.

Peter you should not have any trouble finding the parts locally, a truck shop or a fitting place.
