Please if some one can help me out that would be great, I have a 1997 U320 that had a fire in the waste/ shore power compartment. i have been working on fixing wires but have ran into a dead end. I need to know or see a picture of the switches in that compartment are right behind the faucet there are two of them and I assume a 110V out let and then maybe a Coax cable hookup for tv?
thank you in advance
Brad
There may also be a phone jack next to the coax plug.

Here they are...
Sweet!!! thank you guys so much that is a huge help!!!
I'm sure I will have more questions as I try to resurrect my coach from the 10 dollar adapter fire
Brad,
FYI, those 2 switches are momentary switches. They are connected to a latching relay (one relay for each device) that actually connect and controls the water pump or fill valve. Push switch once for on push again for off at another location if you want. This system lets you control water fill and water pump from multiple places.
Do you have the wiring print for the 12vdc system in the prints that came with the coach from the factory? If so it will give you guidance into how you need to rewire this system.
Mike
Burnd320,
Let us know the cause of the fire so we can be proactive on our similar units!!
Any help wouldbe appreciated!
Peter
If your replacing the power connectors, check out the "Smart Plug" line.
@pamela & mike I have contacted and paid for the wiring diagrams that they had but most of them are for motor and instrument panel stuff and very little to no info on the 12v system. For now I will most likely be abandoning the switches in that compartment and will just use the one in the other locations. although I may need the water fill switch, will know more today as I continue the rewiring.
@dicksop the cause of the fire was the a adapter plug that was attached to the shore power cable. looks like it had a bad connection and started to arc and never tripped the 30 amp breaker.
also on the hunt for black, grey and water tanks as the fire did a number on those as well, if anyone is parting out a U320 in the Oregon area let me know as there are some parts I would like to buy
Visone on their website site says they have a 320 they are scrapping.

It's not always accurate and their prices can be high, but if you got to have it, it may be worth calling them, they are in Kentucky
Good luck with the repair
