Hi. I'm looking for a left hand external mirror to suit 1988 foretravel grand villa. It's a split mirror with convex on the bottom and flat on the top. I don't need electrics. I am in Australia but am able to have collected from or delivered to LA area. Can anyone assist with suggestions or supply.
Thanks Roges.
RAMCO Engineering was the OEM mirror supplier to Foretravel. They are still the primary place to source replacement parts and complete mirror assemblies. The link below goes to a identification chart on their web page. Find your mirror model (probably the 6000 series) and then see what they have to offer.
The other alternatives are places that re-sell RAMCO products, and of course recycling yards. Your remote location Down Under will make finding parts more difficult, so you may need to either get creative (perhaps replace both mirrors with locally available units?), or be prepared to spend a bit of cash for shipping from the USA.

You should be able to find a used one from a salvage yard and unless you need it in a hurry, West Coast to OZ should be fairly cheap. Salvage Yards: Used RV Parts and Salvage Yards by State (https://rtrvg.com/blog/2017/07/22/used-rv-parts-and-salvage-yards-by-state/)
Here is one of the first shipping options I found in about 30 seconds: Shipping to Australia from the US | ShipBob (https://www.shipbob.com/ship-from-usa-to-australia/)
I used to ship new cars from Germany to Long Beach or SF for $425 and Japan for only a little more so shipping can be reasonable. I buy a lot of stuff direct from China. Shipping is either free or very low cost. Contact a fright forwarder in OZ or Long Beach for tips on cheap shipping.
