Hello all,
I know this subject is all over the archives. My four year old shurflo 4008 water pump is ok.
My 25 year old Hungary relay still works. As a spare, have had bad luck with LR 35,and pricey napa echlin AR 284.
I've read about the intellitec mpx low side 10 amp latching controller made for water pumps.
Brad at FT mentioned a Meyle 12 volt relay, similar to the old Hungary FT model.
Meyle number 1009410006.
Anyone used the Intellitec 10 amp latch controller, and how did you wire it?
Or anyone using the meyle cube relay with same FT spade lugs?
Thanks
Have you considered replacing the cube relay with a Finder Typ 20.21/ 12vdc latching relay?

You can find them at Allied, Mouser, Amazon, and even eBay.
On our coach this works in 3 places, water pump, fill valve, and in the generator control box. (not all generators will use this relay)

Finder 20.21 latching relay wiring diagram. And as it is used in FT applications.
In FT applications where there are multiple switches the momentary switch closes a path to ground to the A terminal. This is a momentary connection or trigger.
This latches or releases the relay. When the relay is latched power goes from terminal 1 to terminal 2 and then to the fill solenoid (or pump) and to the indictor lamps on the switches no matter which was pressed.
Thanks for the links and replies everyone!
I just replaced my fill latching relay. They appear to get hot. The fill and water pump latching relays are right next to each other. The rail they attach to is big enough to put s little separation between the two relays. I bet if you separate them a little on the mount so air can get between them they're last for 50 years instead of failing at 23 years!
Good idea, my cube relay sits next to the large breaker ground rail.
This picture shows pump relay in free space, and Not clipped normally next to breaker rail.
