Hoping someone in the forum can help me out. A previous owner must have removed the awning from the drivers window of my coach. Unfortunately where the roof gutter ends it directs all of the water into the drivers window and causes it to leak inside. I would like to replace the awning with an original Zip Dee awning to match the others on my coach and solve my leak. Zip Dee has no information about what they provided to Foretravel and they need some dimensions. Is there anyone with a similar 2002 era U320 (I imagine the other models are the same) with the Zip Dee drivers awning that can provide some measurements? Specifically they are asking for the center to center width of the awning arms which should be roughly the width of the awning and also the length of the awning arms. If anyone can provide this information or any other advice on this topic it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the awing that we have over the driver's window. The coach is accessible and the weather is great if you would like me to get some measurements?
Yes please. That looks like the exact awning that would have been on my coach originally. Please send the dimensions when you can. By the way I love the paint scheme on your coach!
The length if the arms from center of the pivot on spool to center of pivot on arm bracket is 23".
The width measured from the outside of the arm to outside of arm is 44". Inside to inside is 42 1/2". (That would make the mid to mid 43 1/4")
Thanks for the complement on the paint scheme. It kind of matches our house so it looks like it belongs parked in our side yard.
Much appreciated. I'll call Zip Dee tomorrow with these dimensions to see if they can help me out.
Due to the height of the drivers window, you'll likely need to order the awning with the "Long Pull", PN 226901, for it to be able to reach the hook below the window. Our 2000 required that.

The gal at Zip Dee is now asking for the length of the awning fabric when it is extended. She says that the standard awning length is 20.5" but these might be longer due to the height of the window. Do either of you know that measurement? Thank you both for your help.
For those with this awning, unfurl the fabric and check for a tag. I believe they originally had tags on them (although I don't recall if it's at the flap or where the fabric goes into the roll housing) and those will have some info (such as fabric color code, etc. possibly including length)
I'll get a measurement for you a little later this morning (and check for a tag).
Here is a picture of the tag on the awning.
I measured 28" from the attachment at the coach wall to the midpoint on the spool. I measured 21 1/2" from the fabric portion to the midpoint on the spool.
Hopefully ZipDee can take the info on the tag and lookup the specifics.
I meant to attach this photo as well to give you a visual of what I was measuring.
