I am needing to go to my father-in-laws home north of Naco, and have a problem with my coach so called FOT to see if I could drop it off this weekend. All I got was "Mail Box Full" message. So I am assuming that they are closed from the weather/power event this week.
I know Deep East Texas Electric has 1/2 of their customers out of electricity and they are saying it is going to be 3 weeks before they can get their customers back on line. I am not sure if Deep East Power service FOT or not and or the lack of power is the reason for the MBF
I looked on their web site and nothing about being closed. Anyone has any information?
Here is the local news station News (https://www.ktre.com/news/)
Looks like there is a good chance they are without power. The other supplier in the area is Oncor, which is showing many outages in Nac on their map.
Nacogdoches County reports 18K without power (https://www.ktre.com/2021/02/19/nacogdoches-county-reports-k-without-power/)
I went to the web site service page and wrote down all of the names for service and their extension # . I had to take a picture of the web page and then get the numbers from my pictures. Have you seen how fast they have the numbers spinning by by on the web page? After 4 different extensions I got up with a girl and she said they had power and today was the first day they were back working this week. She took my information and was going to have Alan give me a call..
I spoke with parts this morning to buy some items and also spoke with Susan to make sure I could stay at their facility Sunday night
Alan called, said they are back open starting today (2/19/2021) and I could drop off coach this weekend. Said first opening is in March.
Is there a way to change the subject line to something like FOT is now open after big Texas Freeze.
Dropping coach off yesterday was surprised by all the vehicles there. Turned out that since they had missed 4 work days they were working Saturday
Currently at FOT
They were working today. We are at FOT tonight as well, maybe tomorrow too. Parts will be open tomorrow. NMS is open tomorrow. Surprising to see snow on the side of the road coming through Louisiana and in to TX and up to NAC.
70° today.
We are here the AM and one other in the CG, service is busy, remodel is swamped.
Power company trucks gathered here this morning, got orders and dispersed. More of them than us.
