Good evening everyone.
While I was washing the roof today I bump into the sewer vent and the end chipped off in several small pieces. It is original & is still good but was wondering if there was something newer and better than the original to replace it with.
Has anyone upgraded to something different?
The one below is supposed to be good.
From my experience the following is better. It will vent better, sits lower, less likely to stop working or break and is easier to install. It is available in white and black.
Amazon.com: Lippert Components 389381 360 Siphon Roof Vent Cap - White (Gen... (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CZQ9Y6M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_EP6NYWK09Y6NGPA52GPY)
I used this one and am pleased so far. Also replaced the water trap vents under the sinks.
This is a often recurring discussion. See the thread linked below from 3 years ago:

That's the one I bought and installed.
