I had an air leak up front and determined it was one of the two step/step cover regulators. I replaced both with this Husky (Home Depot) part (regulator (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-High-Flow-Regulator-019-0332H/300113697?MERCH=REC-_-searchViewed-_-NA-_-300113697-_-N&)). This one was $25 but you can get them as cheap as ten bucks.
I think I'll buy one of the Norgren valves just in case. I had intended to take them out to disassemble and clean, however, when I tried to remove the little screw that holds the wires in, it broke off. Anyhow, I'll keep a spare on hand for the inevitable failure of one of those valves.

You can remove a nut (or a screw - I forget which) and separate the complete coil from the valve assembly, then pull the valve out to work on it.
Seing how this part is under the bus even though its kinda easy access you still need to crawl around.. Not HIP on that mutiple times (no pun intended) ..
10-25$ just swap it and move on.. It would cost me 30$ in medication to do this multiple times.
YMMV :)) ^.^d
I believe that is the one that broke off.

That is a screw that holds the electrical (plastic) cap on... Take that off and you will see 3 fingers (I believe, maybe four). Spade plugs can be directly attached (on mine).
Nope - I remember now - there is a "C" clip on the end of the shaft right below the little red button. Pull the clip - coil comes off.
Aha! Thanks for the tip.
