Title: Allison ECU on a 1995 U300 location
Post by: Rocky1down on March 11, 2021, 08:32:37 am
Our transmission on our 1995 U300 intermittently won't go into gear.
Bob has cleaned the contacts at the keypad, but we don't  know where the Allison ECU is located to clean the contacts there.
Does anyone know?
Thanks, Susan

On our '94 U280 (a close cousin to your coach) the Allison ECU is mounted on the firewall, under the instrument panel, directly in front of the driver's left knee.

Link below to a post with photos of the touch pad and the ECU, so you will know what you are looking for:

If not under the instrument panel, check on the other side of the bulkhead where you can get to it by opening the nose of the coach.

On our 95 300 it was just where Chuck describes.
