One way to get around answering Phfranko's request for a picture of our "Harvest Table" conversion recommended by Carol Savournin a few years ago.
And,Carol, we still love it and enjoy sitting at the table and be facing the window.
Notice the mirror on the far end of the harvest table? I made a backer stand so the mirror is aligned with the DW's line of sight to the mirror and then to the 32" TV hanging from the front overhead cabinet housing, without her having to turn around to watch the TV while eating.
Nice job. We are changing ours into a bed and TV watching spot as the TV is on the wall. Wish the entry was about 6 inches forward as I having to build an extension to go out into the passageway a little. Will work fine for the grand kids.
We never used that table and your conversion is a lot more practical. Looks factory.

Agree the breakfast bar/computer desk is the only way to go (for maximum two diners). We had ours built at the FOT remodel shop.

Most of the time the DW and I are the only ones eating inside (Rocket has his dishes on the floor over by the fridge wall).
If we are camped for a few days and will have the granddaughter and her family camping near us I set up our 12'x12' Canopy brand screen house with the CG picnic table inside and both families bring their eating utensils and food to pass. I set up the grill and camp stove outside if the weather is nice or inside if raining.
If no screen house up, we still have the lift up table in the living room area.
OK, looks like you had a window installed in place of the cabinets there like in my coach?
Nope. Coach configuration came that way.
