Title: Safety relief valve wet tank
Post by: Spiderhitch on March 15, 2021, 01:20:34 pm
Need a part number if available for safety valve/ pressure relief on end of wet tank. Or can someone tell me what pressure is correct for valve setting so I can be sure I replace with correct pressure

You need a relief valve that opens at 150 psi.

I've got the number somewhere - I'll see if I can find it.

Here you go.  My coach has the Bendix ST-3 non-adjustable relief valve.  I saw mention on the Forum of a newer coach that had the Haldex KN31250 valve fitted.  Either one would work fine.  I prefer the design of the Bendix valve because the spring is not exposed to the interior of the wet tank where it might get gummed up.  Make sure whatever you use OPENS at 150 psi.

Thanks. Starting to hunt one down. Hope leaks are getting close to an end.

Hope leaks are getting close to an end.
I hate to dash your hopes but the leaks never end.  They do get more manageable and less of a nuisance.

Just gotta say it, FT leaks are simple compared to a Newell.  Newell uses air for inside doors, toilet, dump valves, entry door, and various other things.
