Title: Is my oil still good?
Post by: "Irish" on March 29, 2021, 07:53:11 am
Last year just before the Covid lock down I had the oil in our coach changed, since then it has only been out for two drives totaling 50 miles and has been run at a high idle for a few hours.
I read in older posts that there could be deteriorating oil from moisture in the oil over the winter.
So my question is, do we need to change out what is essentially new oil before we start using the coach this year?
I am sure I am not the only one in this situation and wonder what everyone else is doing?

If you are worried about it send it off for oil analysis.  In the army we never changed the oil based on miles or time but on what the oil analysis told us to do.
