Title: Line Monitor Repair
Post by: Bill B on April 12, 2021, 11:09:29 am
Need recommendations for repair of a Foretravel Power Line Monitor from my 2000 U320.  My search of the forum found Flight Systems but when I consulted with them they didn't seem to know about it suggesting I send pictures so techs could maybe see if they could work on it.  So hoping for other possibilities.  Line 2 reads 00 (plug was checked and good) and many of the lights for the polarity check are not functional.  Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Abandon in place and install the much better Progressive Industries HW50C Hardwired EMS Surge & Electrical Protection.  The display from the EMS will do everything the line monitor does and more.

Thanks Dan!  I have a Progressive Ind. portable unit.  Just wanted to get original fixed if possible.

I took mine out, not much use, hardwired PI with display is nice.  I added 120v volt meters to my display

Roger, where did you mount your display for the PI?

In the closet and a second one in the wet bay.  It is on all the time, errors, line 1 volts and amps, line 2 volts and amps.  Don't need to see it all the time.  The panel display lets me know power is on and I can see when one line has more load than the other (voltage drops), easy to see.
