Title: Help Needed! Removal of original Backup Camera U320
Post by: New24Travel on April 14, 2021, 02:58:38 pm
I am trying to replaced my original backup camera with a new improved camera. Looks like the access panel on the upper rear back of the coach is bolted on from the inside? Doesn't appear to have an access panel from inside the coach to access bolts for removal. Does anyone before me have any information or instructions on camera panel removal for replacement? Thank you in advance for any information.

Bedroom cabinet above bed.  Square head #2 to remove the 4 screws holding the access panel in place.

I think there is then something else you need to remove to get to the bolts.  I cut the box the old camera was in, removed camera and then silicone in a new camera in what was left of the box.  I did not get the camera in their perfect straight so it was a little off.

There was an odd size socket to remove something up there.  Seems like 5/32 or something like that.

IIRC, the nuts are 11/32"

Might also add this is the air intake for the engine, best not to lose too many items down that hole.

I did not bother to remove my camera. Installed new camera below intake grill with VHB tape.

I forgot to tell you about the metal panel behind the wood panel. You have probably already figured that out.
