Title: 2007 Nimbus 336 with Hydro Hot Issue
Post by: Kath and Mike Reinert on April 27, 2021, 03:18:37 pm
Hi there,
We have a HHE200-09E manufacture date 2-06.  We have our HH serviced every year (last 2 with Lloyd and his son) since 2016.  Recently we noticed a leak coming from the back area of the HH.  When we called a mobile tech they determined the cap clips broke on the pump and we would need to replace the pump.  Once the pump was received and the tank refilled the tech tried to start the HH and the motor would turn over but the HH would not fire up and we have boiler fluid leaking in the inside compartment.  The tech said we may have a leak in the tank and would need a new heat system.  Does anyone know of a reputable HH person in AZ that we can call for service?  We live in Northern AZ.

Also if we do need to replace this system do we have to stay with a HH?  Lloyd quoted a price of $6800+labor for a rebuild.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kath & Mike

Rudy thank you for your response!  We will let you know once we have taken our rig in for service.  Fingers crossed it is not going to be a replacement.

Love this group!
