Title: Auto Body Shop in Nacogdoches
Post by: Joe Phebus on May 08, 2021, 12:14:44 pm
Can anyone recommend a good auto-body shop in Nacogdoches?  A truck backed into our toad, and mashed the passenger door.  Its an older Geo Tracker, so hopefully it can just be repaired versus trying to find a new door.  Thankfully, if so there's "Geo Tracker Ranch" down the road in Livingston.

Thanks!

Joe,

You must have accumulated much good karma in your life.  What are the odds that your Tracker would sustain damage, and there would be a Geo Tracker Ranch only 65 miles down the road?  Most other places in the country and replacement body parts would likely be very hard (if not impossible) to come by.

Hopefully, the body shop can straighten out the door.  But if not, you couldn't be in a much better spot!

Livingston is also home base to Escapees.  If you have never had your coach 4 corner weighed, they can probably do it at the Rainbow's End Park.  Call ahead for appointment.

Thanks, Chuck!

Yes, the guy from Tracker Ranch found me when we were staying at the Escapees park last month.  I emailed him yesterday and he said he has a good door for me if needed.  We are lucky!

Escapees did our weigh while we were there.  We are quite a bit under weight but it was very enlightening and good to know exactly where the tire pressure should be.

My plan is to visit with Collision Specialists in the morning.  If need be, I'll drive to Livingston and pick up the door. Geico is supposed th have an adjuster call me tomorrow with a quote for what they will pay and they will fight it out with the FedEx insurance company.  Hopefully we can move it pretty quick.  Have an appointment at HWH the first week of June... the last of the new coach maintenance items... so I really hoping we can move this pretty quick.

Don't speed in Livingston or Diboll, they make a living off speed traps
