Title: Finding the history on my new FT...
Post by: nbluesky on May 22, 2021, 04:54:35 pm
Hello everyone, this seems to be a really close group of users on here. The more I read the more I am impressed by everyone stepping in to assist with questions and come up with answers that are very detailed and informative. I was reading an older post where someone had purchased a FT that more than one person recognized and knew the history of. I know the person i bought it from was on here and posted some but I am hoping to get in touch with the owners before him.

I know the PO names are John and Marlene and they seem to bounce between AZ and MN. I found a couple of phone numbers listed online and tried calling but all but one was out of service and I left a message on the other. I would love to know more about the history of this amazing coach. Whoever owned it obviously took very good care of it and it would be fun to talk to them.

If anyone has any info or knows if they are on here please let me know. Thanks!

Is there a number on the front of the coach? Also try Bev Koonce at Motorcade club if you don't find a connection on the forum

I take it that you bought this from a dealer who had it either as a trade-in or consignment. As Tim said, if there is a motorcade number up top (didn't see one in the picture) that will help some.

I think this is the number 12466. It's on the back not the front. I know their names are John and Marlene Maleitzke. They live in AZ and from MN. I'm not sure if they were the original owners or just previous.

I bought from a private party but he bought it from a dealership last Sept in MN. I assume the dealership threw away all the service records unfortunately. I did get all the manuals which is nice. Would love to know more history.

Sorry for the low light pic.

Call Bev Koonce at Foretravel (Motorcade CLub Director) and see if she will contact the folks at their last address or phone number and ask them to call you.

No harm in trying!
