Title: Best $200.00 Spent
Post by: gracerace on June 01, 2021, 04:05:15 pm
Nothing like a fresh new crisp HWH pad, to replace the worn out one. 5 minute fix.

Purchase here:

HWH Leveling Touch Pad RAP8444 -CHECK LEAD TIME-: nwrvsupply.com (http://www.nwrvsupply.com/product/RAP8444.html)

Mine was rap #8444.
Be sure to verify your #, they look alike.
Took about a week to get delivered
Plug and play

If the electronic pad itself is working properly, you can purchase the "stick-on" overlay by itself and just replace it.  I think the overlay is in the $25 to $30 range.  Extremely simple to replace.

Could you post where to get that? Might help others.
I didn't bother to call HWH, as I never get anybody. This purchase was clean and fast.
Have the old one for backup, which I will probably never need.

As I recall I ordered my overlay directly from HWH.  That was a couple of years ago.

I have a new one to install. Looking at it  from behind is it just the the small bolts that have to be loosened off and then peel the old one off and stick the new one on??

I would take it completely out. It's no biggy. Took me all of 10 minutes to RnR complete pad. That included enlarging the holes on the new one. Which you won't have to do.
