After 5 years of ownership, the coach sold today. The wife and I decided to make some changes while dealing with medical issues and some expected changes coming up. I put the coach up for consignment about a month ago and it sold in 3 weeks. According to the sales manager it was one of the hottest units he had on the lot. It showed nearly every day once advertised.
It is bittersweet for us. I feel like I betrayed an old friend, however the option was that she was going to sit idle for another year or more. So, I hope the new owner enjoys her as much as we did and can use her more than I could. Our plans don't take us down the path of another motor home, at this point. If we were to, it would definitely be another FT.
For all who have offered their time, suggestions, remedies and support, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This journey would not have been possible without the support of the wonderful people on this forum. I will still lurk around, maybe be able to offer some advice to someone else, but I will still break my neck turning around every time I see a FT on the highway.
Safe travels to all,
Larry
Time sure flies Larry, I remember when you bought the coach seems like only a few years ago. Hope all works out for the 2 of you.
All the best in the new directions you and your wife may take. You will always have great memories of all the places your coach has taken you.

Don't burn any bridges! We've had a few owners who sold their coach and later down the road, for whatever reason, ended up buying another one.
Warning for Larry: If you don't want to buy another one of these things, stay off this forum. It is just like Al Pacino in The Godfather: "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." Consider yourself forewarned! :)
Enjoyed your posts over the years, Larry.

Larry
Sad to hear that you've sold the coach, but we wish you the best in your new direction. Please hang around on the forum and don't rule out another FT in your future.
Safe travels.
Justin
Best of everything going forward Larry. Sooner or later we all will come to the hanging up the keys ceremony, always better on your terms.
Roger
Good luck Larry, enjoyed reading your post.
All t,he best on the new turn in the roadway. Remember all the good things in the last 5 years of Foretravel ownership.
Good luck. Life is good no matter how you roll down the road.
Love the community this forum has for FT owners. Very proud and excited to get ours on the road and share our adventures with all of you.
Larry I just joined so I did not experience your ownership but with your departure know another new proud FT owner just filled your void. Best of wishes to you and the the DW.
Larry. I can't imagine what your going through since when the time comes I might make a flower planter out of ours or ?
Can't imagine cuttin her loose
Safe travels to you.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I appreciate the support from everyone here. I knew that the day would come sometime, and I didn't want to leave the FT for my widow to deal with. That sounds dark, no I'm not dyeing as far as I know :o . But with changes in the wind for us, we felt it best to send Lola to a new home with someone who has the time to enjoy her. The salesman told me that the new owner is around 50, this is his 3rd motorhome. He was going to go to a class C but couldn't live with the smaller tanks. It sounds like he will enjoy the FT. He got excited from the moment he say her.
I want to shout out especially to those who I talked with by phone, text and this forum who guided me through my issues. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Without this forum and its knowledgeable helpful members it wouldn't have been possible, let alone enjoyable.
I will still be around from time to time. Hopefully our paths will cross somewhere down the road.
Safe travels to all, and enjoy the view.
Larry
Wishing you and yours the best for the future! You will be missed!
Pleased you sold your coach.
I have seen others who later decide that they want another coach, say they wished they had their original coach back. And to those I would say it may be better to keep and not use coach, or wait to sell until sure there will not be a future need.
Here is my story wish I had not sold the 96 U280 36 ft Unihome so I am looking for another one.

We waffled back and forth on this for the last year and a half. Decided for us it was better to go forward. Not sure if we will continue to camp or not, time will tell. If we do, we have talked about downsizing and simplifying, maybe a smaller camper, maybe renting cabins, not sure if even we will go out in the woods with so many new ones who have "discovered" the great outdoors.
That being said, I sure do love the GV 320 still
