While checking some things on the coach Wednesday I was in the compartment that has the 12v compressor and hydraulic pump, all of the sudden there was a flash and smoke in one of the HWH boxes. I had touched the wire that goes to the compressor which I don't think has anything to do with the box. One corner of one of the cards in the box had a pretty good little fire and a lot of smoke..... because it's the box that has the bypass switch on the side I think it is the box for the slides , but I'm not sure....... pulled the box Thursday morning and shipped it to HWH, if will arrive Monday. We have a trip to Colorado planned the second week of August, HWH said right now they have around a 4 week turnaround, it's gonna be close.

Reminds me of the day I fried the generator changing the regulator. Hope they get it back to you in time.
Been there, done that.
Here ya go sparky:
Lucas Replacement Wire Harness Smoke – Oxley Region Amateur Radio Club (https://www.orarc.org/?p=2348)
The burnt components on the corner of the board are an electrolytic capacitor and a diode. Likely that the cap failed from age, and very unlikely that it was caused by anything you did. The diode may be OK, and just got the discharge blast from the cap. I know you sent it to HWH but, for future reference, probably an easy fix if you can solder.
Unfortunately soldering is not one of my strong points. 2 wires came loose too. It arrived at HWH this morning so maybe if it's an easy fix their turnaround time will be shorter..
Thanks
Keith
