Title: Resource for part numbers?
Post by: Bill B on June 15, 2021, 01:36:40 pm
I thought I remembered being able to look up part numbers for hoses, belts and filters for my 2003 U320 on the Beam Alarm website.  Looking for same site for my 2000 U320 but haven't had any luck.  I looked on All Things Foretravel but could not find info on anything newer than 98 related to replacement parts.  Thanks for any clarity for looking up part numbers.

Page below lists '05 U320 numbers (scroll down the page).  Might be the same as your 2003?

Thanks Chuck, I did scroll down but did not find information for a 2000 U320.  Did find for 1999.  Might be the same parts.  Will check on that.

Sorry 'bout that.  In your first post you said  "part numbers...for my 2003 U320".  I kinda stopped reading there and did not notice you then said you now have a 2000 model.  My bad.  Brain fart.

I would think the info for 1999 U320 would be pretty much the same as the 2000, but that's just a guess.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the AC compressor belt and the Alternator belt on 2000 M11?  I'm trying to buy spares and there is some confusion in crossing the part numbers on the belt to a Napa part number.  Chuck, I tried the link and their was still some confusion on matching and crossing the part numbers.  So hoping someone has a Napa part number for the two belts or any brand for that mater.  Thanks.

Alternator Gates ko50340  Cummins 3028521
A/C Gates 9440 Dayco 17440

The 17440 number will cross to any brand 17440

Thanks Craneman.  The alt belt on my coach is a Micro-V 25-050345 so purchased a spare at NAPA.  The confusing factor for me was incorrect on a web site I was using for cross reference.  Finally called and got that cleared up.  The other was the link from Chuck showed the same numbers as you provided which is a 050340 and coach has a 050345 on it.  The 345 is a NAPA number.
The AC belt on the coach is a 17440 but the local NAPA store crossed to to a NAPA A42.  I will return that and get the correct one whether from them or others.  Have good numbers now.  Thanks to all for the help.

The 345 is 1/2" longer as is the 050345. the 345 means 34.5 inches long.

Thanks for the info.  The web site I looked at showed the Gates 050340 to be 57 inches long.  I called and was told the web site was wrong??  But who needs them...we have the Forum!

To simplify, the first 2 numbers are the width in /32's, and the next numbers are the length with the last digit in 1/10's 17440 is 17/32" wide and 44.0 inches long. It helps when the exact number isn't in stock to know what might work.

Thanks Craneman, Chuck and Pierce.  I am very much more educated in belt sizing now.  And I have two fresh belts on board if needed.  Another point scored for this forum!
