Looking for advice on what the two pics are of.
The first one is H2O switch(???) located in the engine compartment on the roof of the compartment next to the air filter gauge. It says the make is Racor Parker
The second one is in the engine compartment attached to the foot of the bed. It is a solenoid but what for? I have replaced the one for the batteries located by the isolator...
The first pic is your water and air purge for the fuel. The second one looks like it might be your boost solenoid but let someone with your coach chime in on that.
How do you use the water and air purge for the fuel pump?
Push the air button to remove air, push the H2O button to remove water. The H2O button only works if there is water in the filter bowl.
Peter, the ignition needs to be on (engine not running). The air purge cycles fuel through the system, air gets trapped and expelled. It will also act like a primer. If your coach has sat for some time it will get fresh fuel through the system.
The water purge expels any water that the fuel/water separator has collected. I haven't actually used that function.

So installed momentarily switch to ground sensor so as to verify normal operation and cycle fuel water purge valve And verify shutoff at home instead of on the road. Still need to clean up wiring

How about just a Racor with water probes and an amplifier to go with it? It turns on a light when water is present so there is nothing to remember to do, no buttons to press.

Can anyone comment on the "second" solenoid I discovered attached in the inside engine compartment bed wall?
Looks like the boost switch
