I need to replace the OEM Javalina monitor/camera system and would like to replace it with a new in dash, flush mounted monitor that can, not only do what the old Javalina system did, but incorporate the Silverleaf engine data program as well.
Is it possible ? Has anyone done this ? I would like to clean up the dash area from all the extra stuff.

Pretty sure the Silverleaf stuff runs on Android, so it would have to be on a tablet or something that runs Android OS. I have the VMSpc which runs on a PC. I bought a 2 in 1 laptop with removable keyboard, which acts like a tablet running Windows 10. I'm not aware of any PC's or tablets that would easily have a video input from a camera.
I purchased a stand-alone system and mounted the 10" monitor under the cabinet above and to the left of the drivers head.
Easy enough to run VMSpc on a small fanless all solid state WINDOWS PC and connect to an HDMI display. Many of these cold have an external camera connection. If you you connect the PC to a wifi router and then that to any tablet, ios, windows or android they can act as a remote display.
My own experience indicates that a 7" tablet is pretty small, 8" is better.
I thought VMSpc had to run on windows not android.
VMSpc only runs on Windows. Windows can use many different displays including android tablets.
