I need the hose fittings that fit on the air conditioner pump in my 1999 U320.
The air conditioner tech in Vancouver said they aren't common. Does anyone
know where to get them. I will phone Foretravel when I get back home.

Just curious but why do you need them? Can't you just take them off and put them on the new pump if you're changing the AC pump? Or is there something about them that's damaged?
My AC system still doesn't work and I want to find somebody soon to get that worked on. Wondering what will be involved, and no clue until somebody actually looks at it, somebody that knows what they're talking about.
Anybody know a good AC person in south eastern Wyoming or northern Colorado?
The only thing wrong with my system is one of the fittings on pump is leaking
and the air conditioning tech said I should change the other one. These are not
a common fitting as they have sensors on them. I am going to change all the fittings
in the rear of the coach so there won't be more trouble. They are corroded to some
extent. Last year my air conditioning wouldn't work and I put a can of Freon in and
it was working. The first thing I do when the air conditioning isn't working is to check
the pressure and if it is low I add Freon.
Those are a common fitting with a high and low pressure sensor. The big problem is they have to be crimped on the hoses and the hoses are long especially the low side. Whoever can make A/C hoses will have the fittings. I have some at home I kept for spares on the crane.
I have a guy who can crimp them he just said he had not seen this type of fitting before.
I will let him see if he can get them when I get home later this week.
Go to this website and order what you need.

My elbow has a sensor also
Why not just try some Red Angel leak stopper, been using it for years.Did you actually see when they used a leak detector exactly where the leak is?
There are 2 different sensors one for low side with a blue cap and one for the high side with a red cap. On mine there are no wires going to the high side at the compressor but there is another high side sensor that is connected near the condenser.
When I get home I will take pictures of it. John the fitting is broken.
I just finished ordering the fittings from Foretravel. I am getting the high and low
side from them. I am changing all the fittings at the rear of the coach. The picture
is of the high side.
I finally got the air conditioning working. I replaced all the fittings at the rear of the
coach and we got it filled yesterday after putting a vacuum on it for a day.
Are they a custom build or do the have a part number on them to order? Don't need but great information for someone else
Scott
Scott I just asked the parts guy at Foretravel for the fittings that go on the compressor
and he sent them and they are the right fittings and got an air conditioner place to clamp
them on for me and they had the other fittings I needed as they are common fittings.
