What is the name and where here may I find the adaptor to cement onto the Foretravel sewer pipe to convert to standard sewer hose connectors?

Very nice mod but drain hose will not store in original tube. Will be upsizing to fit. Real happy with it. Fitted valve with 90 deg so door can be closed. Will need a small bottle of abs cement

Amazon or most RV stores carry the adaptor you need. Just cut off the pipe to the length you want and glue the adaptor on and your set.
I do not think I have enough pipe to put anything off and to glue this on. Anyone else have that problem?
We have had several members make the conversion when they had very tight working space and difficult access to the dump pipe. Sometimes you must get creative. Here are some ideas:

1. Can you remove the "beauty panel" that hides your dump valves and the associated pipes? On my coach, doing so made it much easier to convert the Thetford end to Valterra. I also refreshed the original dump valves and added a 3rd dump valve while I had everything exposed.

2. A couple members were able to remove the old Thetford connector using a combination of careful cutting with a Dremel tool, softening the pieces with a heat gun, and prying them off with a flat blade. This left them with more of the original pipe to which they attached the new Valterra connector.

3. There is another glue-on adapter that includes a valve and cap. if you wish to add a 3rd dump valve, this can simplify the project.

4. You can purchase 3" black ABS pipe and glue-on couplers at local hardware stores. If necessary, you could extend or modify your existing dump pipe to provide room to install the adapter (or a 3rd valve). When making any mods, be sure to use the correct solvent cement designed specifically for black ABS pipe.
