Well, just when I need the air purge system to work on our M11, it doesn't, so ordered a new retro fit primary filter with electric fuel pump for priming. A RAC790R30 is coming from FOT and I will be getting to work installing it on our coach. Will post results when finished. Hope to have it by next weekend. They do not make the original one on our coach anymore, so the reason for the new one.
Marine stores stock the Racor stuff.

Thanks Scott! Looking forward to seeing you and Kim here in Yellowstone! Weather is awesome, with 40's at night and highs in the low 80's during the day with no humidity!
Got ambitious today and installed the new Racor system and got the coach started. Hooray! What a difference and a fairly easy install for just about anyone with tools and time. The air purge worked like it should and engine was purring! Got a thumbs up from John Beem and Chuck our new next door neighbor, aka craneman! Chuck and Linda will spend 3 days here as our guests and good to see them again!
Did the mount work out or will we need to build one this winter?
Scott
Hi Joe,
Can you post some pics of the installed unit?
Where it's at, and the connections both pneumatic and electrical.
I have a Cummins FS1212 where I think mine used to be.
Thanks
Before and After on the Monaco, was almost a bolt in, had to re-drill one hole.
Scott; I was able to reroute the fuel lines to make it work. I removed the old filter assy. and installed the new Racor on the frame, just a little right of the original setup. I used 3/8 inch tex screws and it made the install going into the think rails. Taking the coach out this Monday to West Yellowstone and top off fuel tank and put some miles on the rig. We are scheduled to be here until November 4th, so colder weather is coming next month and the aqua hot will be getting a workout once more! LOL
Hi Frank; I am unable to post photos right now, but our internet connection is getting better. It was a fairly easy install and believe me, I am no rocket scientist when it comes to such things. Hardest part was reaching into the small door and doing the work. Instructions are really easy and I had no issues with the hookups. A red wire goes to positive on the battery and the black wire goes to ground. The connections that attach go to the Racor pump, the bottom of the fuel bowl and to the remote switch, which I mounted just inside of the small door, so when I open it, the remote is right there and easy to activate. The pump comes with an air valve and you just push the button on the remote and push the air valve in to remove air and when fuel starts to come out, you stop and the engine should be purged of air and the coach should start. As soon as I can post photos, I will. Thanks for asking, but this unit should work on any engine setup. John Beem has this same one on his 8.3 cummins. This is the unit that FOT is installing now on all that need it. Racor 790R30 and it is listed on Amazon as well, but I try and do business with the mother company to keep them going for the rest of us.
