Finally moving my business off the dinette table!! Space to hide the monitor and keyboard when using the recliner or traveling.
Happy camper. b^.^d
Looks good.
Looks very nice, Joe. I spent a lot of time doing computer work in my coach and the work space is important to productivity. I know it will be better than the dinette table.
So you are a "leftie", Joe?
Joe,
Congratulations! You finally got a corner office with a window. You have made it to the top of the corporate pecking order! ^.^d
The mouse told on you.
My mouse is also on my left.
I used computers when designing with Autocad. Mouse on the left, number keys on the right. Much faster and efficient than using the keys on the top.
But I'm a leftie and my mouse is on the right. I do many things with either hand except writing, that's reserved strictly for the left.
As the story goes. I'm supposed to be a "rightie", but my grandmother, wanting me to be like my father kept taking the spoon out of my right hand and placed it in my left. So, like Forest, I do some thing right and some things left but eating, writing and mousing is left-handed. The whole incident drove the nuns in school crazy as they clearly preferred rightties. :
Nighthawk, I never thought about that, but I do the same. Left mouse, right keypad, especially for the accounting stuff is a much more efficient way to go.
I'm a rightie but switched to left hand mouse for four years to cure "mouse-itis" in right hand after 33 years of computer use. Left the buttons set for right hand. Interesting how the brain adapts when it needs to. Also keeps others off your computer. Agree that kitchen table is only a temporary solution. I dread setting it up and taking it down.
My theory---and it is JUST a theory--- about how I became a "leftie" goes like this:
I was born deaf in my right ear, on July 4th, 1942.
Back then babies were laid on their stomachs in their cribs. I would apparently lay with my "good" ear (left) up and the deaf ear(right) down on the mattress. Out a little ways from my eyes was this small pink thing that wiggled five little pink things. So I watched it and was fascinated with it and soon learned that I could make it move!!
That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!!! :)) :))
