Title: Fuses/breakers for propane detector and carbon monoxide tester
Post by: Peter on July 31, 2021, 12:30:11 am
Does anyone know where the propane and carbon monoxide testers fuses  are. I installed two new detectors recently and had quick connects put on so they would not run when in storage.  When I connected them recently both would not light up

Your LPG detector breaker is in the basement behind the white fiberglass panel.  It is a manual reset breaker that has a little button on the side that will need to be pushed back in to reset the breaker.

Also good to purchase a combination CO/smoke detector with a digital display and install it up high where you don't have to look for it. They are inexpensive.

NO, the "safety sensors" should not be wired through the salesman switch.

Said another way, they should be active irrespective of whether the salesman switch is on or off.

Thanks to everyone for advice.
I fumbled across the answer accidentally when I bumped one of the relay wires.  Was loose...Ah, the simplest things! A lot of searching and anguish!

Where do you purchase the 10amp push button breakers for  the detectors that are located in the basement?
