I think I finally got rid off any door leak(s).
Directly below each hinge, at an angle, I installed some adhesive backed door seals, about 4"-5" long, to direct any water that came in thru the hinges to return out to the outer door casing.
We have had two tremendous downpours in the last week and not a drop of water showed up on the sill!!
