2003 U320
the silver leaf screen will not power .behind the dash there are 2 boxes one is larger and its blue in color. Is that for a blue tooth or is just an upgrade.
Also how do i get this thing to work
Model is DA-7169
DA-7139 is just the "head" for the Javalina/Audit tank monitor and the backup camera (unless a prior owner repurposed it somehow). Unless someone installed VMSpc and somehow output the screen to that head, it is not for Silverleaf (which was not a Foretravel option back in 2003).
It does not have Bluetooth.
There should be a rocker switch below it to power it.
If it is dead, any 2-video-input head should work to replace it. If the Javalina does not output tank levels or has failed, there are no controller parts available and the original vendor does not support it. SeeLevel has been the replacement-of-choice (which is good, because the Javalina tank sensors are a pain to recalibrate).
Can you please post a photo of the blue and silver boxes so folks can try to ID them?
It's been years since I saw the inside of an '03 dash, but if I remember correctly, one may be the rear camera control, the other may be the "blue or grey box" that takes air pressures and converts them to the signals for the dash gauges.
Is the Silverleaf screen you're referring to a separate laptop or tablet? I'm thinking the VMSpc needs a Windows computer to operate. Silverleaf earlier versions were a large stand alone box with a small screen.
The OP might be referring to a SilverLeaf VMS645 Glass Dash, like this: Glass Dash | SilverLeaf Electronics, Inc. (https://www.silverleafelectronics.com/node/7), which was not OE and most likely added by a PO. More information needed, danilaprepeleac.
