Where can one find the wiring diagrams for a 1989 GV 36' coach? I have the chassis diagrams, but cannot seem to locate them online, or in the Media section.
Are you you looking for the 12V schematic or 110V schematic? Have you looked in your Foretravel manual your coach came with? Some POs have lost the manual. Complete schematics in the manual.
Search for schematics here: https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?media/album/foretravel-library.194/
This should match your coach: Foretravel Motorhome 1989 Foretravel Grand Villa Rear Engine Diesel 36-38-40... (http://www.allthingsforetravel.com/2020/05/26/1989-foretravel-gv-rear-engine-diesel-36-38-40-specifications/)

The manual I have is the Oshkosh Service manual. I do have the component manual library for all the various items the coach was built with. Just no 1989 GV ORED coach manual....
Ronnie at FT tech support has all of them and sent me the pages I needed once.
Not sure what all it impacted, but there was a fire at Foretravel many years ago that destroyed all info on the older coaches. I'm trying to find the history of what years this affects (definitely pre-1996, but possibly post 1989)
Are you talking about 250/300 electrical schematic #B-2033?
Like mine?
I need the 12VAC wiring diagram for my 89 GV ORED 36'coach. Yes, it should be like yours, Nitehawk.
Well, here is what I have in the Foretravel Manual, and now you will have them, along with anybody else with 1989 coaches that wants them.
On the B-2033 schematic I did a scan also of just the center section so you can piece the A-half and the B-half together accurately.
Nice job Nitehawk! Big John, One of the members who visited us, brought a giant print shop version of our 12V schematic. I just keep it rolled up in a mailing tube in one of the overhead compartments. Makes easy reading when the problems happen and your eyes are not what they used to be.

Fellas, and I'm dead serious about this, you folk that are daily involved, (and those any other time, too) are truly a Godsend. As I have stated in the past, automotive and consultation was my so called "forte' " during my professional life. Now you say, well why don't you try and figure some of this out on your own. Damned good question, but..... late in my working career I was involved in a near fatal accident, and from that, all kinds of crap have evolved. After 2 total reverse shoulder replacements, 1 knee replacement, and 2 knee reconstructions, an ankle fusion and then a revision on the ankle, and other surgeries too many to mention, and then Rheumatoid Arthritis decided to set up house keeping, I cannot do a lot of things I did in the past (mobility, mobility, mobility). So, as bad as I hate asking for help, I try and research and l have to lean on other's expertise as much as I can. It's not a sob story (I really hate those done for the wrong reason), it's just my life now. So, thank you all so very much for y'alls help. It is so very much appreciated......
2 cheers for nitehawk ^.^d ^.^d
OK, here I am again.... I have scoured the electrical diagrams, and I don't see anything on the door bell. Is it electric, and I am just blind in one eye and can't see out of the other, or is it mechanical?
And, does the video signal use a coax between the camera and the control box under the dash? My PO had done some "southern engineering" with the coax cables and connectors in the closet right behind the bedroom TV, and I am working on sorting that out now.....
Thanks so much in advance....
On my coach the handle ONLY lights when the porch light is switched on.
To verify if your handle does have the light feature, remove the handle and you should see a bulb or socket on one end.
Per a member's request, Nighthawk's schematic files are now in the Files section under Schematics
https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?media/album/schematics.194/
Duh! I found another schematic (in the wrong place in the manual--me bad) so here it is.
Left side, right side, and middle.
Why middle? Because it is easier to line the left and right pages if you cut about 1" off each side of the middle sheet. Then there isn't the blank edge to deal with on the L & R sheets.
Note to Michelle. Please add to Files section under schematics. Thank you
The files need a more descriptive title. I would never guess what they are as is.
