I had an appointment at Motorhome Services on the south end of Nacogdoches to tweak the front slide after the new floor from Ernie the floor guy. The change from carpet to wood changed the thickness of the floor just enough to need the sliders on the front of the slide to be adjusted.
While waiting on my appointment, I found the passenger drive wheel brake to be metal on metal. Called and asked it brakes could be added to the list and they said yes. So, Monday, off comes the passenger drive wheel, axle and rotor. All new everthing for that brake and rotor. Once that was done, all other brakes were examined and new pads, slide pins, helper springs and seals were installed as needed. Each brake had it own needs. A most thorough look and repair of each of my brakes. New parts that were needed were installed and kept the good parts that were still giving good service.
Then the slide was tweaked, that took some ingenuity. Front leveling pressure regulator was set to correct pressure, Aqua Hot exhaust pipe was wrapped and my under mount kitchen sink was re-installed under the counter. It had had fallen loose.
They shared what they were finding and kept me up to date with the on going repairs. Really fine service, a great job. I really appreciate the thoroughness of each item they repaired. They gifted me the labor time on one or two very small fixes, just super kind in their billing since I was already spending good money on the brakes.
As Arnold has said, "I'll be back".
A thumbs up recommendation from you is a VERY strong recommendation!
We were there in March, first in after the big freeze. They did airbags and shocks in one day. Not the best for an overnight and the in and out on the busy highway was tight. But the work was done right and on time. I will go back.
I've used them for a steering box, brakes, furnace and AC repairs on two occasions. I will be back.
We found them to be skilled, trustworthy and fair, can't beat that, we will also be back to NMS.
When I bought my coach, I brought it over to Bruce and team over there to fix a laundry list of little items. The biggest issue was installing a new (residential) fridge and changing up some of the electrical to support a solar future. Bruce and team were great to work with, but the thing that I liked most was that they LISTENED to me and actually worked with me on the changes I wanted. I was really lucky that my bus was there during the freeze so they kept it inside that whole week. A+ team and worked to get it all done right.
Right now my bus is at a truck shop getting axles seals replaced and I've had to call them a few times to remind them that, yes I do want the other seals replaced even though they aren't currently leaking. It's been frustrating trying to work with them. Makes me wish I could have just gotten it over to Bruce's place.
NMS has done a lot on my coach. Great bunch of guys, very knowledgeable and thorough. I drive the coach 1100 miles for them to do work on it !
Agree with all the sentiments here. We had our coach there back in May primarily for a Redhead steering box install. While it was there we also had them do a cooling system service, transmission service and a front wheel seal. Two days work and several of those things were add-ons. No problem, they took it all in stride and we picked up the coach the first night so we would have a place to sleep and took it back the next morning. If I could have gotten the shocks and bags in time, I would have had them do that too. Very happy with the work and easy guys to work with!
