Title: Microphor solenoid gasket
Post by: Elliott on September 04, 2021, 09:48:21 pm
So the good news is that I am now intimately familiar with the inner workings of a microphor toilet.

The bad news is that Spending all summer in Phoenix must have destroyed the gasket that sits in front of the solenoid plunger. When the water pressure is turned on it's spews water Where the solenoid meets the plastic housing That the water runs into. I tried everything I could think of including taking it apart and shooting plumbers grease in there and couldn't get it to seal so I think it's time for a new one.

Can we still get these parts? Has anyone battled this one before?

I've been there, but all my working parts sit on the floor in the cabinet behind the toilet.

I've been there, but all my working parts sit on the floor in the cabinet behind the toilet.  I had to put in a leak detector back there.
