Title: Behind Dash Peanut light?

Anyone know what this peanut light is for behind the dash?
First thought was it was an LED LOL

That is for reading various engine/trans. codes.  Seems like there is a blink code decipher page somewhere in the media section if one didn't come with the coach paperwork.

I have no electronics at all yet I have the little light. 14 years and I still have no idea why.

I've got one too.  ??

I thought it was a holder for a spare instrument light bulb...kindly provided by the factory.

On some coaches with the mechanical engines/trans. the light was used to get the faults for the anti-lock brakes. Other than that I have no idea except that it is a night light for that electrical gremlin that lives under he dash.

our 2001 has one, noticed it while cleaning up some other wiring.
