Title: Good radiator shop near Corona, CA?
Post by: WS6_Keith on September 13, 2021, 12:51:37 pm
Just discovered a leak while sitting here at the tire shop.  Looking for suggestions for a good radiator or RV service shop in the Corona CA area.

Same thing happened to me in Ann Arbor Michigan. I think it was crainman that talked me into bars leak. Worked great. Still working. I poured the old coolant in my model T because it has leaks in the radiator and the old fluid i drained out stopped the leaks in it. Don't know what it was but the Bars leak has worked for me.
I must disclose I considered it in the snake oil category prior. It worked. Tire beads too and now i swear by them. Don't know how they work still but they do. IMO

Definitely coolant, picture just looks dirty because I'm parked in a service drive and in the shade.  It's fresh, red Rotella ELC NF.

Can you make it 25 miles to Colton Truck Garage? They have 6 or 7 bays for RV's.

Quality stop leak at Napa will fix you up. Did mine.

Going to add 2 bottles of Bar's once it cools down enough to remove the cap.  Hopefully this works.

Bars leak is good stuff.

Is your leak at the end caps?  There are bolts you can snug up a little (for the ones you can get to)

Bar's Leak seems to have solved the problem.  Stopped leaking about 5 minutes after being put in and not a drop since.  Whew!  Thanks guys!

I used JB Weld to patch a tiny hole in my old 1981 Foretravel's radiator.
