Title: Propane Manifold
Post by: kimosabe99 on September 26, 2021, 08:10:37 pm
After switching to a household refrigerator, I am going to finish capping the old propane line off at the manifold.  My question for you all is which line off the manifold went to the refrigerator?  I'd rather not do it by trial and error.  Lines disappear into the tunnel making tracing very difficult.  So if anyone has idea, let me know.  Here's a picture of my manifold.

On my 91 U280 it was the second one down from the top.  I disconnected a couple of lines and and had my wife check while I blew air through the line from the refrigerator.  She picked that one.

Jack, I took my propane lines loose at the manifold and bolted air through them to find the one from the refrigerator, Actually I blowed air from the refrigerator end with lines off at manifold--had a friend help-- then capped off manifold

Kinda curious when I think about it.  The FOT designers and craftsmen who screwed our coaches together were SO thoughtful to put I.D. tags on all the major electric wires and air system tubing - a fact that I always really appreciate when working on our coach.  But it obviously didn't occur to any of them to stick I.D. labels on the propane lines at the manifold.  Wonder why?

So... everything on your coach requires propane? TV, Power Steering, Heated mirrors, Tachometer??
